RULING FOR May 12, 2026 Department S22 – Judge David Driscoll This court follows California Rules of Court, rule 3.1308(b) for tentative rulings. (See San Bernardino Superior Court Local Emergency Rule 8.) Tentative rulings for each law & motion will be posted on the internet (https://www.sb-court.org) by 3:00 p.m. on the court day immediately before the hearing.

The court on its own motion hereby continues the hearing on Defendants’ Motion for a Protective Order re Plaintiff’s Deposition from May 12, 2026, to June 30, 2026, at 8:30 a.m. in Dept.
22. The court sets this matter for an Informal Discovery Conference (IDC) to occur on June 12, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. The parties are to appear telephonically for the IDC by calling Dept. 22 at least 10 minutes before the appointed time. The parties are ordered to participate in further meet and confers before the IDC. The parties are to file Joint or Individual IDC statements no later than 5 court days before the IDC apprising the court of the further meet and confers and of any remaining discovery issues in dispute.
