Ruling
Defendants Aurelio Corona and Maria Corona’s Motion Compelling Third-Party Hoag Hospital’s compliance with a Subpoena Duces Tecum is GRANTED.
Defendant seeks an order compelling third-party Hoag Hospital’s (“Hoag”) response to a subpoena for business records relating to plaintiff Rosa Juarez’s claimed injuries.
Here, Defendants have submitted valid proof of personal service of the subpoena on Hoag on August 14, 2025, which was accompanied by a notice to consumer. Hoag has not responded to the subpoena, either by way of objection or production of the records. Plaintiff has also not objected to the subpoena.
No opposition to this Motion was filed either by Hoag or Plaintiff.
The court finds a valid proof of service on Hoag was filed by Defendant on December 3, 2025. (See ROA 47.)
Hoag is hereby ORDERED to appear for deposition and produce the requested documents by no later than July 3, 2026.
