As discussed with counsel on February 20, 2026, it appears to the Court proper venue for this matter is Placer County. Counsel were ordered to meet and confer on this issue and file a stipulation to transfer venue if parties agreed with the Court’s view. To date, no stipulation has been filed, and neither party has filed a case management conference statement informing the Court whether this issue is contested.
