A Petition for Transfer can be filed by the conservator, the conservatee, the spouse/domestic partner of the conservatee, a relative or friend of the conservatee, or any other interested person. (Probate Code §2212)
The petition for transfer can be granted if the court determines that the transfer requested in the petition will be for the best interests of the conservatee.
Here, there is no petition for transfer, only a request by the Court Investigator.
The court intends to discuss with the PG and counsel for the conservatee if the transfer is in the best interest of the conservatee.
