Order to Show Cause re: Dismissal
June 15, 2026, Case Management Conference Tentative Rulings
1. CL0002073 Synchrony Bank vs. Nori J. Bates Appearances are required. All parties shall show cause why this matter should not be dismissed with retention of jurisdiction pursuant to Code of Civil Procedure section 664.6(e).
2. CL0002610 Charly Hodge vs. Doe Defendant No appearances are required. On its own motion, the Court continues the case management conference to December 14, 2026, at 9:00 a.m., in Department 6. Plaintiff shall file a proof of service, an application for service by publication (as appropriate), or a request for dismissal of Defendant no later than two weeks prior to the continued case management conference date.
3. CL0003264 Midland Credit Management Inc. vs. Shane Kimbrel Appearances are required. All parties shall show cause why sanctions should not be issued for their failure to appear as directed on May 4, 2026. Additionally, all parties shall show cause why this matter should not be dismissed with retention of jurisdiction pursuant to Code of Civil Procedure section 664.6(e).
4. CL0003526 Wandun Enterprise, Inc. vs. L. Robert Thomas No appearances are required. On its own motion, the Court continues the case management conference to September 28, 2026, at 9:00 a.m., in Department 6. Defendant shall file a responsive pleading, or Plaintiff shall file a request for default (as appropriate) or request for dismissal of Defendant at least two weeks prior to the continued case management conference. Plaintiff shall give notice of the continued court date.
5. CU0001249 Tina Warner v. Jennie Pope No appearances are required. On its own motion, the Court continues the case management conference to September 28, 2026, at 9:00 a.m., in Department 6. Plaintiff shall file a proof of service, an application for service by publication (as appropriate), or a request for dismissal of Defendant no later than two weeks prior to the continued case management conference date. The Court notes that on May 13, 2026, Plaintiff filed a proof of service of summons, but has not included the notice and acknowledgment of receipt form. See POS- 015.
6. CU0001395 Eric Butterworth, et al. vs. Mountain Concepts, LLC, et al. No appearances are required. A bankruptcy stay remains in effect. The Court continues the case management conference to December 14, 2026, at 9:00 a.m., in Department 6. The parties shall update the Court on the status of the stay in their case management conference statements two weeks prior thereto.
7. CU0001483 Susan Gabrielle vs. Phillip G. Conlon, Jr. No appearances are required. The Court confirms the review hearing presently set for July 10, 2026, at 9:00 a.m., in Department 6. The Court sets no further case management
