March 9, 2026, Case Management Conference Tentative Rulings

1. CL0002989 Wells Fargo Bank, N.A. vs. Kevin J. Beard Appearances are required for status regarding dismissal. If the parties wish the court to retain jurisdiction, they should file a written stipulation under Code of Civil Procedure section 664.6 or state their agreement regarding the same on the record.

2. CL0003555 Carson Valley Oil Company, Inc., vs. Justin Geiger No appearances are required. On its own motion, the Court continues the case management conference to June 22, 2026, at 9:00 a.m., in Department 6. Defendant shall file a responsive pleading, or Plaintiff shall file a request for default (as appropriate) or request for dismissal of Defendant at least two weeks prior to the continued case management conference. Plaintiff shall give notice of the continued court date.

3. CU0001258 Randy Lee Miller vs. Nevada Commons Appearances are required for status regarding dismissal. If the parties wish the court to retain jurisdiction, they should file a written stipulation under Code of Civil Procedure section 664.6 or state their agreement regarding the same on the record.

An order to show cause hearing is set for the same date and time for Plaintiff to show cause why he should not be sanctioned for failure to file a proof of service, an application to serve by publication (if deemed appropriate), or a request for dismissal of the First Amended Complaint on Defendant Gary Liardon as previously ordered by this Court on November 17, 2025. The clerk shall serve notice of the order to show cause.

5. CU0001345 Gutierrez Penn Valley Enterprises, Inc. vs. D&L Siding Inc., et al. No appearances are required. A request for dismissal has been filed. This matter is dismissed with prejudice.

6. CU0001354 Cynthia Gustafson vs. Safeway Inc., et al. No appearances are required. The order to show cause issued to Safeway, Inc., is discharged in the interest of justice. On its own motion, the Court continues the case management conference to June 22, 2026, at 9:00 a.m., in Department 6. Cross-Defendant Clean Carts Sales & Service shall file a responsive pleading, or Cross-Complainant Safeway, Inc., shall file a request for default (as appropriate) or request for dismissal of Cross-Defendant at least two weeks prior to the continued case management conference.

7. CU0001643 Carrington Mortgage Services, LLC vs. Ashley Parker, et al. No appearances are required. A default prove up hearing is set for June 12, 2026 at 1:30 p.m., in Department 6.
